Hol Baumann has graced virtually all of the compilations on Ultimae Records. While in the process of formulating a proper full-length artist album, Baumann recorded this live set at an Ultimae event at Sonic, a boat floating on the Saône river in Lyon, France - October 5, 2006.

This live set demonstrates Hol Baumann's thick composition style and adept use of intense rhythms and captivating acoustic elements (strings, guitar, bass, vocals, percussion).

This release, Live at Sonic October 5, 2006 marks the first in a series of digital-only releases from Ultimae Records under the [ Sofa Manifesto ] division.
