Product Description
Music For Installations is a project of Pieter Gyselinck from Belgium. The recordings on the CD were edited from the live performance on ‘The Night of the Museum’ on 28th of November 2013 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium.
The soundscapes are inspired on the surroundings of a forest and the merging senses due to synesthesia. In the museum was on that moment also an exhibition of the painter Ciurlionis. He was known to have synesthesia. The music was played in the half circled central hall room between beautiful sculptures and columns.
The sounds were enhanced by the video work displayed by Niek Cornil, who perfectly translate the music into images. You find some short clips of the music on the You Tube Channel of Music For Installations.
