Bass player and singer in several coldwave and industrial bands as a teenager, Vincent then moved on to composing with machines and specialised in audio sampling and layering of acoustic sounds digitally transmuted. Its music ensures a coherent fusion between Deep Ambient, Downtempo and IDM with a touch of Electronica Neo-Classical, Indus & Minimal Drum’n’Bass.

As AES Dana he has produced 9 albums, a collection of audio samples and numerous tracks for various compilations, while collaborating with the Swedish artist Magnus Birgersson (aka Solar Fields) under the moniker H.U.V.A. NETWORK on 3 albums and with the Greek artist MIKTEK on 3 EP releases gathered later in the concept album « Far & Off ». They also worked together on the “Fragments 01 & 02” sample libraries. His solo-designed music library «Aethers» (co-published with Loopmasters) which was voted « best Cinematic Ambient sound bank » in 2015. He is also the curator of the Fahrenheit Project compilations. In 2022 he teamed up with Danish composer Lauge and released the album Terrene.

He composed scores and licensed existing works for short and feature films, documentaries and BBC tv programs such as « Atrophy Bank » by Sam Asaert, « The Passport » by Amund Lie, « Mandorla » by Roberto Miller or « Breath of Life » by Susan Kucera which opened new perspectives on composition and sound design and collaborations with various advertising agencies.

As head of the Ultimae Studios, he earned a solid reputation for his audio mastering works & Sound Design.

Influenced by 70’s floating music as well as deep Electronica & Trance, he offers two kind of dj sets: hypnotic and cinematic Ambient Music or Progressive Psy Techno.

His mix are wavering between abyss and sparkles, a style based on superposition, smothering, light and shadows. He always constructs his sets as stories, the chapters are opened and closed one by one.

Originally a guitar drums and flute player, Lubos set up his electronic ambient/downtempo project back in 2007 and since then released an LP and a few Eps on labels such as Kahvi and Mindspring Music.

As an eco-activist, he set up studio in a newly built straw-bale family house. His sound is often described as rich and visual, recently getting deeper and infected by analogue warmness and bass driven, with gentle moments and subtle hidden emotional layers.

He has been touring, both as Ambientium and with partner Fat Cat on a live improvisation project which led to some interesting live chillout performances across festivals in Europe, including the renowned Sziget Festival.

Since 1996, the project Asura has polished a personal electronic universe sound, between trance psychedelic, ambient and world music. In 1998, Christopher Maze joins the band and in 2000, the first Asura album, Code Eternity, is released.
Made by many influences, their music, built around electronic machines and acoustic instruments, does not remain about it less one personal and considered creation, centered on the perpetual search of infinite spaces and multiple origins. Monotonous melancholic lyrics, symphonic waves, fast and slow rhythms, heavy or throbbing, liturgical songs, the project Asura introduces a certain solemn vision of the world. They have created a very distinctive sound which has contributed to making Asura one of the most recognizable bands of the World Electro and Trance Ambient genre.

In 2001, Vincent Villuis left the band to concentrate on his new project Aes Dana and was replaced the same year by Alex Ackerman. The second album, “Lost Eden“, was released in 2003. Since July 2005, after the departure of Christopher Maze and Alex Ackerman, Asura became a solo project. exclusively composed of Charles Farewell.
In July 2007, the third Asura album, [ Life² ], was released, followed by  [ 360 ] in october 2010 and [ Radio Universe ] late 2014.

The artist is currently working on an immersive live show.

Recognizing the importance of blending various styles, Alex decided to delve into the fusion of Pop and Electronic music at the age of 16. He became a keyboard player and arranger for several bands, specializing in infusing electronic sounds into Pop-Rock atmospheres.

After completing his studies in Acoustic Engineering, Alex took a definitive turn towards electronic music. Collaborating with different directors, he engaged in diverse projects, including creating original soundtracks for advertisements and short films.

Through these ventures in musical scoring, he developed a distinctive style characterized by an inherently Ambient nature, featuring complex yet minimalist and elemental compositions. Alex Scheffer has made a lasting impact with his downtempo soundscapes, adorned with delicate and heady melodies. Over the years, his compositions have transcended genre boundaries, showcasing an immeasurable talent. Following the release of his latest album, “Onwards System,” he has been simultaneously working on two new albums—one more upbeat in nature and another in line with his previous works.

His journey into electronic music began back in his early teenagehood and after a few years, he discovered the electronic ambient genre which grew into his big passion and later on, lead him behind the decks.

Since the beginning of his DJ carreer, he performed at a great number of festivals and events accross the world and of course in his homeland, Denmark.

Inspired by the nature and isolated places, his mixes are often a selection of ambient / downtempo / IDM music with deep cinematic soundscapes and layers of organic textures.

He joins Ultimae Records in 2015 and after the release of Isolated and Opia is currently selecting works for an upcoming compilation.
