Young producer Nicholas Jaar has announced that he is to scrap his Clown & Sunset imprint in favour of the brand new Other People label. Launching in September with a compilation entitled Trust, the imprint is described by Jaar as a serial label. ”Like a magazine, we deliver new content each week. Every Sunday, our members receive a new issue.”
The first release is a various artist compilation entitled Trust, a mix of ambient and downtempo featuring Nikita Quasim, Valentin Stip, Acid Pauli and Jaar himself. The 13-track selection also features compositions from two members of Jaar‘s live band, Will Epstein and Dave Harrington.
