“OPIA,” is the second Various Artists compilation curated by Danish DJ Christian Samsara. This artfully assembled collection of ten tracks captures the numinous essence of cinematic ambient music, IDM, and electronica, enveloping listeners in atmospheres that transcend the everyday, leading them into a lush sonic landscape. OPIA ideates the ambiguous intensity of eye contact, which can extrapolate to the profound connection between the music and its audience.

With influences ranging across a wide palette of rhythms, patterns, and pads, OPIA invites exploration of the liminal spaces between sound and silence. Within its fugacious harmonies, the music’s transient beauty emerges, where melodies dance on the edge of perception before gently fading, leaving an afterglow of serene awe.

Featured artists include Miktek, Lars Leonhard, Cell, Martin Nonstatic, SYNC24, AES Dana, and Erot, each also collaborating with Christian Samsara and Carbon Based Lifeforms.
