LAUGE

With a long history of writing electronic music, Danish self-taught composer Henrik Laugesen better known under the pseudonym “Lauge” from the sideproject “Collapsed Textures”, or as part of numerous collaborations such as “Lauge & Baba Gnohm”and “Sullen Sky” still continues to express himself through deep and melancholic soundscapes ranging from Beat-less Textures and Drones to Neoclassical Ambient and Psychedelic Downtempo.
With a career spanning over two decades and releases with many major labels worldwide, Lauge has established a very firm foot hold within the Ambient and Psybient genres.
So far Lauge has been involved in the creation of 15 albums, participated on multiple compilations, sync placements and one patch bank for the Danish sound design outlet “Luftrum”.
Apart from producing music, Lauge is also curating mixes and playlists for outlets like Spotify under the brand “Ambient Soundscapes”.
