Inspired by natural rocks this opus is composed by Martin Van Rossum under his Martin Nonstatic moniker.

A twelve-tracks album of smooth catchy drifts, hypnotic melodies and waves of subtle beats that contrast with lush soundscapes. Spiced-up blend of deep techno slash house, dub and downtempo, enhances clean-cut electronic rhythms and soothing rolling bass lines.

Granite is Martin’s third album following releases on Bine Music and Silent Season and tracks on several compilations including Passages and the forthcoming Digiseeds by Ambientium.

“The Return of Persephone” deals with issues such as the division of an existence, the pain of personal or forced exile, societal oppression and restrictions. Where is the bond between our reminiscence and our unforeseen unsettled future? Maybe a place that lies between the “underworld” and what we perceive as “real world”. An agonizing, asphyxiating cry in a toxic land, revealing a labyrinth of choices inside the landscape of a human.

Mario Sammut aka Cygna collaborated with Ruben Zahra on the soundtrack of Rebecca Cremona‘s film “Simshar” which won best original score award along with 12 other awards at the Bridges International Film Festival in Greece last week-end including the Golden Pegasus best film award for director and co-script writer Rebecca Cremona, and best leading actress award for Clare Agius.

For his seventh album James Murray dissolves guitar, bass, piano and electronics into continuous streams of granular sound. The British composer has created a strikingly original series of long-form meditations that condense, dissolve and recombine their elements, constantly drifting and shifting in form like the clouds themselves. The Sea In The Sky is proudly presented by VoxxoV Records, delicately mastered by Vincent Villuis at Ultimae Studio and features design by Paskine and artwork by the composer’s uncle, abstract painter David John Hilditch.

Gianluigi Gasparetti aka Oöphoi was an Italian ambient musician, perhaps best known for his role as the editor of “Deep Listenings“, an Italian magazine dedicated to ambient and deep atmospheric music. Oöphoi‘s music can be characterized as being static, organic and minimalistic.
