Ryoji Ikeda is one of the most influential minimal electronic musicians and sound artists of our time. He also works as a cutting edge visual atist. He creates poetic art reducing the elements to extremes. These two tracks are taken from his first and third album from early/mid 90’s and are previously never released on vinyl. Space was newly mixed by Ryoji Ikeda for this EP.
Irakli was born in Georgia when the country was still a part of the Soviet Union. He moved to Cologne before ending up in Berlin a decade ago and has been an active and interesting voice in the electronic music and club landscape of the city. First as a DJ and producer behind the I/Y and Intergalactic Research Institute For Sound labels, but also as one of the minds behind the STAUB collective.
Chimères (pour Ondes Martenot) was born out of the desire of Nahal Recordings and Christine Ott (virtuoso ondist and multi-instrumentalist teaching at the Strasbourg Conservatory) to offer an unprecedented album, entirely conceived using only her Ondes Martenot.

Ultimae proudly presents Gneiss, a first solo EP on the label for Danish composer Tore Kofod Hyldahl aka Erot after his participation on Martin Nonstatic‘s Granite Remixes and releases on labels such as Iboga Records, LSD-Liquid Sound Design and Fallen Metropolis. The emotive and abstract musical tale invites the listener to escape perception, understanding and apprehend the vast of music, of nature, time and space. Grounded yet floating freely, the chiselled rhythms and evanescent pads create the cradle of contrasts in which one can let himself be lulled and carried away on a deep and delicate journey.
Christian Samsara released a beautiful new mix for South Korean channel KKUM (human dream in Korean). The project is curated by Vurt, a pure, futuristic underground group based in Seoul, and focused on exploring and realizing unconscious fragments through episodes inspired by human dreams.
