Txt was founded as an outlet for his many aliases and collaborations – (Autumn of Communion, Nacht Plank, Ishqmatics) and in the last five years has grown to become home to many diverse and experimental artists. Ambient luminaries such as Matt Hillier (Ishq) and Mick Chillage regularly record limited releases exclusively for the Txt label.
The label focuses on quality and channels its output in limited form for the ambient cognoscenti. Now established as one of the UK’s leading Ambient label’s Txt never rest on their laurels and are constantly pushing the boundaries of the ambient form, not afraid to embrace all aspects of the genre, from lush pastoral strings right through more kinetic electronic drum patterns and back to cold dark drones, discerning ears will find what they are seeking on the Txt label.”
